Where will the Protestants go , if we loose the USA to the Catholics?

Mexico , South America, Central America, and Quebec are all Catholic. That is OK cause Catholics are Christians. But in the USA there is an influx of Catholics from Mexico legal and illegal. There are no Protestants on the Supreme Court, which only has Catholics and Jews. The Protestants could move North to Canada, but is that not under Britain? Most Catholic countries are poor. We need to pay the debt and balance the US budget. So we need elements that produce wealth and jobs. Santorum and Gingrich are both Catholic. Some Republicans want to make Marcus Rubio , another Catholic ,the Vice President. In Europe the Catholics and Protestants were adversaries. Even till recently in Ireland there was war between the Protestants and Catholics. Not that Catholics are not good people. They are. But the point is we need to have balance. Like it or not, it was the Protestants who brought freedom etc to America and established it here and for the rest of the world. Not that the Protestants are perfect or anything like that. The only Protestants running are Ron Paul a Baptist and Romney , a Mormon . Neither of these has allegiance to someone outside of the Republic of these United States. So I think Protestants need to look more seriously at their GOP Presidential choices or other choices. They need to vote Protestant. And next time Protestants need to run more Protestants for Congress and other positions. Wake up Protestants. One third of all US Catholics vote GOP. Two thirds of US Catholics vote Democrat.

The country is still mostly Protestant, so I wouldn't worry much about that.

I want to go to Heaven..

There was never a war between Catholics and Protestants in Ireland! You're getting confused with Republicans and Unionists!Source(s):Lived in Ireland all my life so I know what im talking about.

Why do they have to go anywhere? We have freedom of religion here.Politicians are politicians.

Bluestocking

The church and state are separated by the consitution. Read the bloody thing.

The protestants will be fine. If anyone understands the importance of religious freedom it is Catholics. Maryland was founded by Catholics seeking refuge from persecution by Protestants. Any way your reasoning about allegiance to the pope thing is ridiculous. People said the same thing about Kennedy and guess what nothing happened. I am seriously offended by this question it just proves how much prejudice still exists in this country.

I'm sure you have discovered that the Mormon faith has allot in common with the Protestants. Some of the most fundamental beliefs that you have as a Protestant are also part of the Mormon religion. I am not talking about such things as how we view the Godhead or that we have additional scripture but principles such as:FaithLove of God and our fellow human beings.PrayerThe belief that their is a God and that Jesus Christ is our SaviorThat a restoration of the true teachings and practices such as baptism as taught by Jesus Christ was necessary. So, Protestants...why not support Mitt Romney? He is a good man who believes in God, in prayer, and in keeping the commandments given to us by Jesus Christ. How can you go wrong with that?In addition, he has not been a life long politician. He was a successful business owner before becoming Governor and he did a masterful job with the 2002 winter olympics. He has proven that he is an effective leader who can get things done so why not support him?

If you said we had a black president and if we had a black Supreme Court you will be flogged for being racist. What's the difference. Did you forget that Nancy Pelosi and a great deal of Liberal Democrats in Congress? There are Catholics, Protestants and Jews. Many live according to their faith and many are simply pseudo Catholics, Protestants and Jews. Let's start judging people by their actions and not some label you choose to pin on them.Catholics have by and large been in the pocket of Democratic voters. The liberals are shooting themselves in the foot by alienating these voters. It is foolhardy for Obama to continue on this rant against one's beliefs and conscience.

That is just bizarre.

Too bad...the true character and what their experience and accomplishments are...should be what helps to understand if they would make a good leader or not...So I am voting for....Despite the political and even religious diatribe, most of which is innuendo and false accusations from the undereducated…It’s still going to be about the economy and who can get the job done!Romney knows and understands world economics. In the private sector, for most of his life, he successfully and profitably managed large companies, helped turn around large companies that were sinking and helped other companies get started, saving and creating thousands of jobs, Domino’s Pizza, Sports Authority, and Staples to name just a few of many.Funny. Half of MA loves what Romney did, the other half hate him, maybe because he left after completing only one term. Maybe he is not a “career” politician, do you always need a “career” politician to get the job done?Yes, he worked as the MA governor for his entire term for FREE!!! Who else would have done that!?Yes, during his 4 years as governor MA started out ranked 49th in job creation for half of his term before moving up to 47th in his final year. Not a stellar record to some.Yet Romney also reduced corporate loopholes and cut state spending in order to cut taxes and increase consumer spending. MA had a huge deficit, about 3 Billion dollars when he started, and he left MA with a 600 million surplus and balanced budget at the end of his term (yes, he raised state “fees”, but still kept them below the national average). He can't help it if the government screwed up after he left.MA’s super majority Democrat controlled legislature wanted desperately some kind of Universal Health care program. Romney worked with them to create one that would work, similar to mandated auto insurance (most states have such mandates). It is estimated that 98% of the residents are now covered. It was within projected budget (about 1% of the State budget) until Romney left and MA made changes to the program and now it is costing them. Romney believes that states -- not the federal government -- should be free to design their own plans for covering the uninsured if that is what they want to do.Yes, he compromised on some political issues, again dealing with a super majority Democrat Legislature and Judicial Branch in MA, in order to keep the state government working together and moving forward. He turned around a struggling 2002 Winter Olympics with millions in debt and made it into one of the most profitable Olympics in history. And only took a Daniel

dollar salary. Who else would have done that!?He is against federalization and big government and believes in state’s rights to govern their own affairs. He believes in marriage between a man and woman, the importance of family, and lives the example. He is for a strong military and believes the borders should be better protected. The list of real positives is far greater than the supposed list of negatives. And the Democrat Party is most afraid of Romney.

I remember this same argument being made, when JFK was running for President... I guess the biggest difference is, JFK, didn't bring up all the radical views, the Republicans, & a few Catholic Cardinals are today... It serenely seems to me, this election cycle, the Republicans, are doing everything in there power... To hand the Presidency, to Obama, for one more term... Its as if they're admitting, we can't fix it... Let the Democrats have it, another four years, get it fixed.. Then we'll run a credible candidate, in 2016... Possibly they're thoughts are, by 2016, people will have forgot about G.W.Bush... As it stands right now, or at least it looks to be... Only the hardest of hard core Republicans, are in favor, of any of the Republican candidates... Why they insist on, shooting off they're own toes, is beyond me...

Most companies will let you do this, however if they don't, try using your bank's website to pay them directly. Also, you can try one of the payment portals like paypal or mycheckfree.com to see if they accept payments that way.Source(s):Work in the insurance industry
