Is allstate insurance company good for auto insurance?

Is allstate insurance company good for auto insurance?

I actually want to switch my new suv insurance currently from statefarm to allstate because of there new car replacement policy. Today I called them at 877-521-7963 for free quotes and talk to them about 25 minutes. So far I am satisfied with the rates and there customer service. However, I just wanted a push from the current or previous allstate customers. Any new thoughts would be appreciated

I switched from State Farm a few months ago, they always had random rate hikes and I just couldn't take it anymore. I switched to Nationwide and I LOVE them, my agent is amazing, my rates are lower, and every 6 months he calls and asks what's new in my life to try and lower my rates even more. I'm beyond happy with them.My friend was in an accident and had Allstate, her family has had the policy for 15 or so years and they never had any problems. This was the first accident they had that was actually their fault, she slid in the rain at a red light (in a Honda Civic) and ended up going underneath a 15 passenger van. Her car was destroyed (the estimated speed at impact was 11 mph...) she was fine and the van had a bent bumper, no other damage. They had so many issues with Allstate from the accident they ended up switching to Nationwide after all that time, they said their rate was almost the same. I know the issues they had were delays in payment for hospital bills, one almost went into collections apparently and she had no idea until she got a phone call from the agency, she called Allstate and they told her they already paid everything they were going to, she had to pay it herself then file with her agent to get reimbursed for it which took over a month. Her car was deemed totaled the day of the accident my two body shops, Allstate went out the next day and then decided a week later it was totaled, it took her over 60 days to get back the value of the car for her to use twoard purchasing her new vehicle. They just seemed very slow but it may have been the situation, I think some people will have great experiences some will have bad ones, its all luck of the draw. But you are smart for switching from State Farm, they will rob you blind for nothing!Good luck! =)

Allstate and State Farm are the two most expensive car insurance companies a human being can get.Hope you are aware of that.Been with Geico for 15 years - great service - less than half the cost of those two monsters./

I've been with them for years (10+) and haven't had a problem.

How does a traffic ticket, first offense, impact the cost of auto insurance in dollars or percentage?
It depends on the company and its policies. Insurers don't routinely check your record on renewal because of the cost of doing it, but they will check at some point and see it. What effect it has on your rates is up to the company.

I want to open a race track in the tampa bay area. How do I find investors?
How far have you gone in your research? Do you have property? Do you have all your permits? Insurance?, etc. It will be more appealing to any investor if you have these things in place with the City and County first. Have you worked on any kind of proposal to present to investors?Ideas:Contact...

Is there a course for auto insurance agents?
Generally, there are two licenses required to sell insurance.First of all, the state certfies, by a written test, that you can be an agent. The insurance department also certifies the educational offerings, either approving them -or not. Accordingly, they'll have a list of available courses...

What state or states do not require car Auto insurance in order to own a car and use it ?
The liberal state of Oregon self insures many of their own drivers and avoids the cost of commercial insurance. Other states let individuals self-insure as well (see form for georgia below) I guess this pretty much blows out your comparison. Not too mention that those that do not drive are...

Which car would you reccommend?
Well one thing you don't mention is how long you intend to keep the car. I would only go with the Audi if I knew I was going to be done with it before the warranty expires. It is nice that everything is included under the warranty, but they get darn expensive to maintain and repair after...
