Does anyone know if State Auto Insurance Agency is a good insurance?

I am looking for auto/home owners insurance was quoted a great premium with State Auto, but wasn'-t sure how good of insurance they are.

An AGENCY, is a broker - they're actually selling you someone else's policy. You need to ask them what the name of the COMPANY is, and then you can check for financial stability and complaints, with your state insurance department.

the ins bureau in the state where you live rates the company and their underwriting...also any independent ins. agent can tell you how they are rated..you can google the name/after the name pur the word either rating ratedalso put their name in and then put problems.....see what comes up/others have to saybut an indepn. broker can tell you best
